The Ensemble /K/

HYBRID, Multidisciplinary,
Multicultural
This project was born from the meeting of a group of curious, well-traveled dancers…who want to see beyond pure technique.
There is movement, a back and forth between their dances, their gestures, but also between the arts in general.
"We wanted to forge more links between artists in our discipline (dance) and these other arts (theatre, singing, cinema, design, architecture) but also to create links with the architectural, technological, scientific, urban planning sectors…To see the birth of original, unprecedented ideas, without barriers to the imagination.
By creating this "Ensemble", our wish is to imagine hybrid projects and allow artists of all kinds to come together, generate ideas and see the emergence of multidisciplinary artistic creations conceived together, with dance and movement as the link, the core of each proposal.
Artistic creation has no limits or borders.
We wish to bring together artists from all backgrounds, all disciplines, all nationalities within the (K)inêtikos ensemble, a hybrid, multidisciplinary, multicultural…evolving ensemble."

OUR MISSIONS
Dance, undoubtedly one of the most dynamic and constantly evolving artistic practices, embraces confrontation without losing its specificity.
We want to create "unclassifiable" shows, a transit zone for bodies, text, visual arts and new technologies, with the aim of promoting interdisciplinary research, choreographic writing and artistic innovation.
Beyond artistic creation, we wish to carry out consulting, management, support, production and distribution missions for the artists, groups of artists and works that will be selected by the association.
One of the essential missions of Ensemble /K/ is to promote encounters between different audiences and forms of artistic expression.
We wish to organize workshops, courses, training sessions, debates, performances, festivals, round tables…in order to increase exchanges between artists, amateurs, connoisseurs and curious people.
Promoting our artistic and cultural activities is paramount and must be done through current communication channels. In this regard, we want to invite visitors/spectators to become active participants in their own cultural experience, particularly through social media.
